Sea Catch M Series
The LM series up to the TR12 have an enlarged and
reinforced jaw area able to accept larger diameter
wires and shackles than the standard Sea Catch.
The TR15LM is a modified TR15 provided with a front
jaw enlarged to receive up to 2.98”fibre line such as a
fibre forerunner. Additional side plates at the jaw area
are provided to spread the load. An inner jaw radius of
1.61
inches is formed to simulate the synthetic line end
of a Mandal Fairlead Shackle #120M.
Sea Catch TR15DM
The TR15DM is a modified TR15 provided with a front
jaw enlarged to receive up to 3.3”fibre line such as a
fibre forerunner. Additional side plates at the jaw area
are provided to spread the load. An inner jaw radius of
1.61
inches is formed to simulate the synthetic line end
of a Mandal Fairlead Shackle #120M.
Sea Catch Air-activated Units
Standard Sea Catch units are fitted with a hole in the
body below the release lever and mounting holes
tapped in the base of the body. The rod end of an air
cylinder is inserted into the hole and the cylinder is
mounted below the body with thru-mounting screws.
Air-activated Sea Catches operate at 60 to 100 psi.
Manual backup release is maintained by means of the
standard lanyard pull on the release lever.
